Investigations authorities in Giza ordered two unemployed men to be detained for four days pending investigations over allegations that they snatched a young woman's mobile phone while she was walking along a street in 6th of October City, using a motorcycle.
The prosecution requested further investigations into the incident and ordered the confiscation of the recovered mobile phone and motorcycle.
The incident began when a young woman filed a report with the Giza Security Directorate, stating that two men riding a motorcycle had snatched her phone and fled.
Investigations identified the two suspects, who were subsequently arrested. Police also seized the motorcycle allegedly used in the incident and recovered the stolen phone. Legal procedures were taken against them.
