Head of El-Senbellawein Inspects Leaning Building in Ghazala Village

Ahmed Arafa, Head of El-Senbellawein City and Center in Dakahlia Governorate, inspected the leaning building in Ghazala Village today, Saturday, to assess the situation on the ground and follow up on measures being taken to protect residents and secure the surrounding area.

Security Measures Around the Building

The inspection was carried out in accordance with the directives of Dakahlia Governor Tarek Marzouk to closely monitor the building and take the necessary legal and technical measures to protect citizens and their property.

A security cordon remains in place around the leaning building in cooperation with security authorities to prevent residents and passersby from approaching the dangerous area.

The building was also referred to the committee responsible for unsafe and potentially collapsing structures to assess the extent of the damage and determine the appropriate measures.

Engineering Committee to Assess the Building

A specialized engineering committee from the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University was assigned to conduct a detailed inspection of the building and develop an appropriate engineering plan for its safe removal, while minimizing any potential impact on neighboring buildings and facilities.

Specialized Company to Carry Out Demolition

Ahmed Arafa confirmed that the demolition and removal work will be assigned to a specialized company experienced in complex demolition operations. The work will be carried out under full engineering supervision and in accordance with the required technical procedures to ensure public safety.

He also emphasized providing support and necessary care to families affected by the incident until the technical committees complete their work and the site is fully secured.
