Menoufia Media Graduate Achieves Global Ranking in Photography with Image of Alexandria’s Greco-Roman Museum

Omar Ayman Ahmed Attia Ahmed, a 2026 graduate of the Radio and Television Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Menoufia University, has achieved an international accomplishment in photography after his image of Alexandria’s Greco-Roman Museum received a global ranking in the CONCEPTUAL MINIMALISM competition organized by the international photography platform 35AWARDS.

The competition featured strong international participation, with 4,528 photographers from 111 countries and 1,284 cities submitting 22,341 photographs.

Omar’s photograph, titled “Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria, Egypt,” ranked among the top 26% of participating works according to the main voting results.

The achievement reflects his artistic vision and creative ability to use photography as a medium for expressing ideas and concepts in a distinctive visual style.

Dr. Ahmed El-Qas, President of Menoufia University, expressed his pride in the achievement, emphasizing that it represents a source of pride for the university and reflects the high level reached by its graduates in various creative fields.

He highlighted the university’s commitment to providing an educational environment that encourages innovation, discovers talents and equips graduates to represent their university and country honorably in international competitions.

Dr. Nadia El-Qady, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, also expressed her happiness with the achievement, stressing that the global recognition of Omar’s photograph adds another accomplishment to the faculty’s record.

She noted that photography is an important field closely connected with media studies and visual arts, requiring strong visual awareness, creative composition and the ability to communicate ideas through images.

The achievement highlights the creative and practical capabilities of students and graduates of the Radio and Television Department and their ability to transform academic knowledge and skills into creative works capable of competing internationally.
