Husband Seeks to Revoke Wife’s Custody of Their 4-Year-Old Daughter Amid Fraud Allegations and Financial Disputes

A family dispute has escalated into a legal battle after a husband reportedly sought to revoke his wife’s custody of their four-year-old daughter, citing financial disagreements and allegations of fraud.

According to the husband’s account, the dispute began during their five-year marriage after several business ventures involving his wife reportedly failed, leading to debts and financial claims from other individuals.

He alleged that his wife had taken more than EGP 1.8 million and said he had paid part of the disputed sums to prevent the conflict from escalating with people close to him.

The husband also claimed that several complaints involving alleged fraud had been filed against his wife. He is reportedly relying on these allegations in his request to change the custody arrangement.

He further stated that his wife had left the marital home and that he took their daughter to his mother’s house because he was concerned about the child’s well-being.

The husband also alleged that his wife’s brother assaulted him, causing injuries that required 21 days of treatment, according to the medical report he referenced.

The financial dispute reportedly led to further legal proceedings, including cases involving divorce, imprisonment-related claims and alleged misappropriation.
