Education Directorates Direct Schools to Distribute Textbooks Ahead of New Academic Year
Education directorates have instructed educational administration directors and their deputies to follow up on the delivery of school textbooks to schools in preparation for the new academic year, which is scheduled to begin next week.
The directorates stressed the importance of ensuring that textbooks reach schools and are distributed to students during the first week of classes, emphasizing that textbook distribution must not be linked to the payment of school fees.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education also confirmed that school fees are paid in two installments, with amounts varying according to the educational stage and grade.
Payments are made through contracted electronic payment outlets and post offices nationwide, using the student's national ID number, or the student code for non-Egyptian students.
