The 2026 summer transfer window officially closed after a dramatic final night that witnessed intense activity from European clubs racing to complete their final deals and strengthen their squads before the registration deadline.

The summer transfer market saw massive spending, along with several high-profile moves completed in the final hours, bringing the squads of major European clubs into clearer shape ahead of the new season.

Grealish Returns to Everton, Mudryk Joins Tottenham

One of the most notable late moves saw Jack Grealish join Everton on loan from Manchester City. The English winger returns to his former club in search of regular playing time and an opportunity to regain his best form.

Tottenham also completed the signing of Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea, in one of the most notable moves of the final day in the Premier League transfer market.

Chelsea Sign Lamine Camara

Chelsea continued their strong transfer activity by reaching an agreement with Monaco to sign Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara for €55 million, strengthening their midfield options ahead of the new campaign.

Liverpool Sign Genk Goalkeeper

Liverpool announced the signing of goalkeeper Luka Brugmans from Belgian club Genk on a long-term contract. The player will join the English side after the end of the 2026-2027 season.

Barcelona Spend More Than €190 Million

Barcelona were among the busiest clubs in the summer transfer market, spending more than €190 million on new signings.

Their arrivals included Anthony Gordon for €80 million, Rodri for €80 million, Karim Adeyemi for €29 million, Jesse Biseo for €8.5 million and Dominik Livakovic for €2 million.

Joao Cancelo joined Barcelona as a free agent, while the club also signed Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus for €15 million.

Barcelona Generate €108 Million From Sales

Barcelona generated around €108 million from player sales, with Ferran Torres leading the list after leaving the club for €48.5 million.

The departures also included Ansu Fati for €11 million, Tommy Marquez for €11 million, Hector Fort for €8.5 million, Jofre Torrents for €6 million and Jan Virgili for €4.8 million.

Toni Fernandez and Guille Fernandez also left for €4 million each, while Inaki Pena and Alvaro Cortes departed for €3 million apiece.

As a result, Barcelona's net spending in the summer transfer market stands at around €82 million, following more than €190 million in spending and €108 million in sales.
