President of Menoufia University Receives Contract Establishing University Sports Club: A New Step Towards Creating a Comprehensive Sports Complex

Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassad, President of Menoufia University, received Dr. Samir Karam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Menoufia, Dr. Mohamed Salama, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Sports, and Dr. Hassan Badr, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Youth, to receive the contract establishing the Menoufia University Sports Club for Games and Activities. This follows the Ministry of Youth and Sports' approval of the club's establishment, a new step that strengthens the university's sports and social activities system and supports the state's direction towards developing university sports.
Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassad emphasized that the establishment of the Menoufia University Sports Club represents a new achievement in the university's journey and a culmination of its efforts to create a comprehensive sports entity that will benefit students, faculty members, staff, and their families, in addition to serving the people of Menoufia Governorate and the surrounding community.
The university president explained that the club will be a comprehensive sports, social, and recreational center, incorporating the university's sports facilities. This will ensure optimal utilization of available resources, provide a suitable environment for practicing various sports activities, discover and nurture talent, and develop and refine the skills of young people.
Dr. Ahmed El-Qassad pointed out that the university's vision aims to establish a state-of-the-art sports complex featuring modern fields, Olympic-sized swimming pools, and indoor sports halls equipped with the latest technology. This will make the club a sporting and social hub for university staff and residents of the governorate, in addition to its capacity to host local and international sporting championships and events.
The university president added that the Menoufia University Club can represent a significant addition to sports in the governorate and contribute to enhancing the university's standing on the sports tourism map by hosting major championships and events. He emphasized that the university's focus on sports stems from its role as a fundamental component in building well-rounded students and promoting the values of discipline, teamwork, and positive competition.
Dr. Ahmed El-Qassad affirmed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports' approval of the club's registration reflects the state's support for university sports and underscores the importance of integration among state institutions in implementing projects aimed at serving youth and developing their capabilities. He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Gawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, for his support and cooperation in completing the club's registration procedures.
The university president also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Youth and Sports Directorate in Menoufia Governorate, Dr. Samir Karam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Menoufia, Dr. Mohamed Salama, Undersecretary for Sports in Menoufia, and Dr. Hassan Badr, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Youth, in recognition of their efforts and constructive cooperation in finalizing the club's registration procedures.
