The new academic year 2026-2027 will begin in international schools on September 6th, according to the schedule outlined in the academic calendar for the upcoming year.

The Ministry of Education emphasized the necessity of adhering to ministerial decrees regulating tuition fees and the permitted percentage increases. It also stressed the importance of schools publishing the approved tuition fees for the new academic year on their respective websites before the beginning of August to allow parents timely access to information.

Meanwhile, Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the outstanding level of proficiency in foreign languages ​​achieved by students in international schools and the high quality of teaching in these schools. He emphasized that the Arabic language, the mother tongue of Egypt, must be a top priority, as it represents identity and belonging. He directed the development of appropriate programs and mechanisms to support students who face difficulties in speaking, expressing themselves, or writing in Arabic, thereby strengthening their connection to their language and national culture.
