Menoufia Governor Refers Reconciliation Officials in Menouf to Prosecution

Over building violations and accepting settlements without documents

Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, referred several officials and reconciliation file managers at Menouf local unit to the public prosecution.

The decision came based on a legal affairs memo and results of reviewing 15 reconciliation files in Kafr Fesha by the internal audit department.

Investigations revealed negligence in duties, failure to follow up on engineering plan violations, issuing elevation permits despite major violations, and accepting reconciliations without accuracy or required documents, violating the law.

The governor directed a precise and transparent review of all reconciliation files and full compliance with legal regulations, with continued follow-up and inspections to prevent violations.

He stressed that enforcing the law and protecting state and citizens' rights is a top priority, and strict measures will be taken against offenders.
