Marriage Grant for Eligible Daughters and Sisters of Pensioners: Conditions and Application Steps

The marriage grant is one of the services provided by Egypt’s National Organization for Social Insurance to eligible daughters or sisters receiving a pension from a deceased pensioner.

The grant is paid when the daughter’s or sister’s pension is suspended due to marriage, subject to the conditions and procedures established under the Social Insurance and Pensions Law.

Eligibility requires the beneficiary to be among the eligible pension recipients and for her pension to be terminated because of marriage. The grant is calculated based on the pension amount due during the month of marriage and is subject to the applicable legal rules.

To apply, the eligible beneficiary should visit the competent insurance office and submit the required documents proving the marriage and eligibility for the grant. The National Organization for Social Insurance then reviews the submitted documents and completes the procedures required for payment.
