Menoufia Governor Visits Injured East District Deputy Head in Hospital and Vows Firm Action Against Attackers

In a humane gesture, Major General *Amr El-Gharib*, Governor of Menoufia, visited the Deputy Head of East Shebin El-Kom District at Menoufia University Hospital to check on his health condition after he was assaulted while performing his duties.

The official was injured while preventing a tractor from illegally dumping demolition waste on a public road. The Governor was accompanied by Dr. *Mohamed El-Nomany*, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Mr. *Haitham Azeq*, Head of East Shebin El-Kom District.

The Governor assured full medical and therapeutic care for the injured official and wished him a speedy recovery. He praised his dedication and commitment to maintaining the district's civilized appearance.

El-Gharib stressed that the governorate will not tolerate any assault on employees during work, confirming that legal procedures are being taken and the law will be applied decisively to offenders to preserve the state's authority. Security forces have arrested the violators and seized the tractor.
