Wadi Degla Club officially announced the signing of midfielder Mohamed Fathy from Al Ahly Bank to bolster the team's midfield during the current summer transfer window.

Fathy becomes Degla's third signing this summer, following Mohamed Soliman from Olympic Club and Mahmoud Halimo from Pharco.

*Departures:*
The club parted ways with Hesham Mohamed, Mahmoud Talaat, and Hassan El-Khattab, thanking them for their contributions. Croatian player Daniel Meshkich also announced his retirement.

*Pre-season Preparations:*
Degla recorded strong results in previous friendlies:
- 3-1 win over Haras El Hodoud
- 3-2 win over Ghazl El Mahalla
- 5-3 win over Petrojet

Head coach Mohamed El-Sheikh confirmed three additional friendlies on August 5, 6, and 12 to test all players and evaluate new signings ahead of the new season kickoff.
