Promoted spiritual treatment and fraud online
The Ministry of Interior arrested a man in Karmouz, Alexandria for fraud and scamming citizens by claiming he could provide spiritual healing.
Investigations revealed the suspect promoted his criminal activity on social media, claiming abilities in sorcery and witchcraft.
During legal procedures he was arrested with a mobile phone containing evidence of his activity and tools used in fraud. He admitted filming videos of his practices to increase views and profits.
Legal measures have been taken.
