Al Masry Renew Contract with Algerian Star Abdelrahim Deghmoum Until 2029

Al Masry Club’s Board of Directors, headed by Kamel Abu Ali, has completed the renewal of Algerian star Abdelrahim Deghmoum’s contract, keeping the player at the club until the end of the 2028/2029 season.

Deghmoum signed his new contract in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Moussa, a member of Al Masry’s Board of Directors and supervisor of the first-team football department.

The Algerian midfielder joined Al Masry at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season from Algerian side ES Sétif. He has enjoyed several impressive seasons with the Port Said-based club, attracting interest from a number of clubs in Egypt and abroad.

The contract renewal reflects Al Masry’s desire to retain the player, whose previous contract was set to expire at the end of the current season.

Al Masry Third in the League

Al Masry currently sit third in the league table with six points after winning their opening two matches.

They defeated Smouha 1-0 in the first round before beating Al Mokawloon Al Arab 3-2 in the second round. Al Masry have scored four goals and conceded two.

Al Masry vs. Pyramids

Al Masry are set to face Pyramids FC at 8:00 p.m. on Monday at New Suez Stadium in the third round of the league.

The Port Said club will be looking to maintain its perfect start to the competition.
