Egypt's Ministry of Investment hosts national committee meeting to prepare for Egypt's pavilions at Green Expo Yokohama and Belgrade Expo 2027 to boost exports.

Egypt launches preparations for Green Expo Yokohama and Belgrade Expo 2027 to promote Egyptian products and expand global market access.

The *Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences*, affiliated with the *Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade*, hosted the first meeting of the *National Committee* formed under Ministerial Decree No. 396 of 2025. The meeting, chaired by Ambassador *Alaa El Beily*, aimed to prepare for Egypt's participation in *Green Expo Yokohama 2027* in Japan and *Belgrade Expo 2027* in Serbia.

*Promoting Egyptian Exports*
The meeting falls within the Ministry's strategy to enhance *access to foreign markets* and increase Egyptian exports by leveraging international exhibitions to promote Egyptian products and connect Egyptian businesses with global counterparts.

The Ministry aims to showcase Egypt's production and export capacities, explore new opportunities for Egyptian companies, and build networks with international importers and investors.

*Expo Themes and Egyptian Pavilion*

- *Green Expo Yokohama 2027*: Held from *March 19 to September 26, 2027*. Focus: *sustainability, nature, sustainable agriculture, and biodiversity*.

- *Belgrade Expo 2027*: Held from *May 15 to August 15, 2027*. Focus: *the power of music and sports* in uniting people and cultures.

The meeting reviewed the *design of the Egyptian pavilions* and the planned events program. Ambassador El Beily stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to maximize the benefit of participation and promote Egypt's investment and export opportunities.

The committee includes representatives from ministries of Culture, Youth, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Tourism, Communications, Agriculture, and several economic authorities
