*President Abdel Fattah El Sisi* received *Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani*, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of *Qatar*, in Cairo in the presence of PM *Mostafa Madbouly* and several ministers.

Sisi praised the progress in bilateral relations and expressed aspiration to further enhance cooperation in political, commercial and investment sectors. He stressed Egypt's readiness to provide all facilities to *increase Qatari investments* in Egypt.

The Qatari PM conveyed greetings from *Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani* and affirmed Qatar's keenness to develop ties with Egypt.

The meeting also addressed regional issues. Sisi stressed the importance of containing current escalation and reiterated Egypt's support for Qatar's security. Both sides discussed *coordination to implement the Gaza ceasefire agreement* under *US President Donald Trump's plan*, emphasizing the need to start early recovery, reconstruction, and ensure humanitarian aid access to Gaza.
