*PM Mostafa Madbouly* chaired a meeting in New Alamein to review the *"Productive Village" initiative* aimed at boosting *sustainable development* in rural Egypt.

The initiative focuses on leveraging each village's resources and comparative advantages to develop local industries, provide *training, financing, and marketing support*, and transform villages from consumer to *productive hubs*.

Key targets include creating *sustainable jobs* for youth and rural women, establishing *100 factories over 3 years*, and allocating *EGP 1 billion* for agricultural and food product markets.

The first phase targets *4 villages* in *Beni Suef, Assiut, Sohag, and Beheira*. The *Minister of Industry* was tasked with overseeing implementation and preparing an integrated executive plan.
