Authorities have released the names of *3 victims* killed in the explosion at *Arabella Plaza Mall* in Cairo's 5th Settlement:
*Nour Omar El-Farouk El-Bandary*, 38, confectionery worker; *Mona Salah Abdel Rabo Hegag*, 31, shop employee; and *Abdelrahman Tarek Mesad*, 25, branch manager. Their bodies were transferred to the morgue. *17 others* were injured and hospitalized.

The *Public Prosecution* assigned forensic experts to conduct DNA tests to identify remaining remains, after body parts of 3 victims were found.

Prosecutors inspected the site, where the blast occurred inside a *gift and toy shop*, and reviewed surveillance footage. Initial findings indicate the explosion was caused by a *gas cylinder*.

Criminal evidence experts were tasked with examining the scene. The prosecution also ordered the summoning of mall management, the arrest of the shop owner, and the formation of a committee to review licenses and civil protection compliance.

Investigations are ongoing to determine full circumstances and accountability.
