Indi Navarrette Open to Obsession Sequel

American actress Indi Navarrette has expressed her willingness to reprise her role as Nikki in a potential sequel to the horror film Obsession, which gained attention in 2026.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Navarrette said she would be open to returning if the filmmakers decided to continue the story.

Discussing Nikki’s future, the actress explained that the character is only beginning to recover from trauma and grief after enduring experiences that left her feeling a loss of control over her life.

Obsession, directed by Cary Barker, follows a shy young man named Bear who wishes for Nikki to love him unconditionally. However, his wish turns into a terrifying nightmare as their relationship spirals into an obsession with deadly consequences.

Despite Navarrette’s enthusiasm, a sequel has not been officially announced. Barker has previously suggested that he has ideas for expanding the film’s universe, including the possibility of standalone stories about different wishes that lead to disastrous outcomes.
