Egypt's Prime Minister inaugurates Africa's mega Julius Nyerere Dam in Tanzania implemented by Egyptian companies.
On behalf of President *Abdel Fattah El-Sisi*, Egyptian Prime Minister *Mostafa Madbouli* participated in the official inauguration of the *Julius Nyerere Hydropower Dam and Station* in Tanzania.
The project was implemented by the Egyptian alliance of *Arab Contractors* and *Elsewedy Electric*. Madbouli toured the site with Tanzanian President *Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan*.
The Power House includes 9 turbines with total capacity of *2115 MW*. The Main Dam is 1036 meters long and 131 meters high, creating a reservoir of *34 billion cubic meters*.
The inauguration marks a major milestone in Egypt-Tanzania cooperation and African development.
