Egypt’s coordination office announces Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 7 PM as the final deadline for phase 1 university applications. No extensions will be granted.

Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education urges students to register now as the phase 1 deadline approaches.

Egypt’s electronic coordination office for university admissions announced that 7 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2026 is the final deadline to register preferences for phase 1 of government universities and institutes for the 2026/2027 academic year. No extensions will be allowed.

*Registration Details* 
Dr. Ahmed El-Geyoushi, acting head of the education sector and supervisor of the coordination office, said the website is available 24/7 for registration and edits during the phase. He urged students who haven’t registered yet to do so quickly and to carefully review their preferences before final submission.

University computer labs are also open to provide free technical support from 9 AM to 3 PM on official working days.

Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, the ministry spokesperson, said the ministry is sharing press releases, infographics, videos, and guides on official platforms to help students register correctly and follow coordination rules.
