The family of a Thanaweya Amma student has called for an urgent investigation after her result appeared as a 68% pass on the Ministry of Education website, while school records show she failed all subjects.
 
The family of Yamna Waleed Mohamed Ibrahim Abu Shady, a 12th-grade student at Ebshan Secondary Girls School in Bella, has submitted a request to the Ministry of Education demanding an immediate investigation into a discrepancy in her exam results.

Student Yamna Waleed Mohamed Ibrahim Abu Shady, seat number `2497328`, registered at Ebshan Secondary Girls School in Bella Educational Administration, Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, was surprised to find her Thanaweya Amma result listed as a 68% pass on the official Ministry of Education website, a result that was also published by several news outlets.

However, she received a shock when she went to her school to collect her success notification and graduation forms, only to be informed according to school records that she had failed all subjects.

The student sat for her exams at the Hassan Mostafa Primary School committee in Bella. According to her mother, the student faced harassment from invigilators during the exams, though no violation report was filed against her.

The mother stated that the Ministry had previously responded to a complaint filed by her daughter, dispatched a committee, and contacted the student by phone to reassure her that there were no grounds for disciplinary action.

The family questioned why the result was published as a pass online if a violation existed, asserting that withholding the result would have been the logical procedure. They are calling for a thorough review of the data and a correction of the error.
