Akram El-Saadany Reveals Final Moments of Mohamed El-Taji: He Suffered Bleeding for Two Days After Surgery

Writer Akram El-Saadany revealed emotional details about the final moments of Egyptian actor Mohamed El-Taji, who passed away after suffering a health crisis following surgery.

El-Saadany spoke about the close friendship between Mohamed El-Taji and his longtime friend Khairy El-Mahlawy, describing their relationship as similar to the Egyptian version of “Tom and Jerry.” Despite constantly teasing and criticizing each other, the two remained extremely close and stayed in regular contact.

According to El-Saadany, Khairy El-Mahlawy was the first person to learn about El-Taji’s serious health condition. The actor was reportedly admitted to the intensive care unit for two days following the surgery.

El-Saadany added that the surgical wound did not heal and that El-Taji continued to suffer from bleeding before his condition deteriorated and he passed away.

Mohamed El-Taji came from a prominent artistic family and was a relative of the late legendary actor Abdel Warith Asar.

Throughout his long career, El-Taji appeared in numerous successful television, film and theater productions that earned him a special place among Egyptian and Arab audiences.

His notable television credits include “Al-Basha'er,” “Layali Al-Helmeya,” “Al-Mal Wal-Banoun,” “Zezenia,” “Al-Asyan,” “Yetrabba Fi Ezzou,” “Selsal El Dam,” and “Newton's Cradle.”

He was known for his versatility and ability to portray a wide range of characters across television, cinema and theater.
